It is with great sadness that we note the loss of Karen. She was an remarkable and inspirational woman and a committed patient advocate. She was a strong supporter of the BRESO platform and was instrumental in its development. She has been actively working towards the implementation of European Certification in breast cancer surgery, recognising its critical role in ensuring that all breast cancer patients to have high quality cancer surgery, regardless of the country where they live. We will miss her and send our condolences to her family.
